I view my professional life as an extension of my personal life, each informing the other, and both being part of an ongoing process of awakening. My interest in psychology emerged gradually as I discovered that I had hidden, unconscious aspects which existed in unexplored, opaque regions of myself. Over the years, I have come to believe that the core of psychotherapy is a process of mirroring that allows one to go beyond what one was permitted to see during childhood and youth, thus expanding limits and allowing the unfolding of new potentials. At the most general level, this describes the attitude that I bring to the work of psychotherapy in its deepest sense.
